To travel further afield, London is 60 miles away , Brighton 30 miles and historic Porsmouth less than 15 miles. From Portsmouth it is a short ferry ride over to the Isle of Wight.

	Goodwood House Goodwood Horse Racing May - Oct The home of Lord & Lady March is open to the public (check times) and is a delightful 20 minute walk from Oak Lodge. Goodwood is also renowned for its horse racing with many meetings throughout the year, the famous Festival of Speed, The Revival and beautiful Sculpture Park. Glorious Goodwood in August is a must on your 2010 social calendar if you have never been before!

	West Wittering Beach & East Head Noted as one of the 10 best beach locations in the Country with something for everyone. Peaceful & secluded sand dunes on East Head or surf & waves further along the beautiful stretch of sandy beach. 15 minutes drive away (longer in high season at peak times)
	Chichester City Centre & Cathedral This must be one of England's most beautiful cathedrals, situated in the heart of a historic and charming City. Chichester can boast some of the best shops, cafes and restaurants to be found in the South.
	Chichester Theatre The theatre continues to attract many famous actors and playwrights and the summer festivities must surely be unrivalled. Oak Lodge and North Walls cottage have been the temporary home to several actors and directors over the last year.
